Tailwind Flight Center is one of only three facilities in Wisconsin that is an FAA 141 approved Flight School. This requires a commitment to quality, modern aircraft and facilities as well as state-of-the-art training equipment.

Tailwind flight Center also provides the campus for Utah Valley University’s Aviation Science degree program. As the third largest aviation school in the nation, UVU is an accredited university that offers an excellent professional pilot training and education program at an exceptional value for its students. Utah Valley University is highly respected in the aviation community.
Students complete all course work online and are able to stay in the area for all flight training. Graduates have the ability to fly professionally in a variety of airline and corporate positions.

Flight Simulator takes off at ATW!

Tailwind flight Center also offers leading edge technology with the Redbird Flight Simulator. This is the safest and most affordable way to improve skills while staying in the comfort of the classroom.

The Redbird FMX is a high-quality, feature-rich motion AATD, priced with real-world flight training operations in mind.  With standard features that are anything but standard, such as wrap-around visuals, a fully enclosed cockpit, reconfigurable construction, and of course a motion platform, the FMX serves up a level of realism that is simply unavailable in other training devices on the market.
