EAA AirVenture at Platinum Flight Center

Aircraft Parking

  • Grass and hard surface space is available to accommodate all plane sizes.
  • Hours of operation during EAA – 6:00 am – 8:00 pm.

Upon Arrival at Platinum Flight Center

  • EAA Volunteers will be available to assist you with all your needs once you’ve arrived.
    • Tie downs are required for airport safety.  Tie downs will be available for purchase.
    • Service request cards – complete the card and place on your prop. Our line service staff will be by to take care of all your needs while you enjoy the EAA Airventure show.
    • Airport Security – For the safety of all our Platinum guests we are required by the TSA to issue each guest a security bracelet and escort them to and from their aircraft.
    • Courtesy shuttles are available during the hours of operation to transport guests to and from the Platinum Flight Center Lobby.
  • Fox Cities Convention and Visitors Bureau – A booth will be set-up in the Platinum Flight Center Lobby to assist you with all your travel needs.  For additional information on hotel accommodations, rental cars, etc. please contact the Fox Cities Convention and Visitors Bureau @ 920-734-3358 or visit their website at www.foxcities.org.
  • EAA AirVenture Transportation – Bus transportation is available in front of the airport terminal.  View bus schedule/rates by clicking on one of the links below. (Both of these lines go to the EAA, but they don't go to the same hotels, etc...)

Rental Car Reservations

AvisNeed a rental car?  Use the link provided to make your rental car reservation with our preferred agency Avis. http://eaa.aviswi.com

If you make a reservation with an agency other than Avis, please contact them upon arrival to ATW to move forward with the rental process.

If you are reserving a rental car please be sure to specify that you will be flying into Platinum.  In addition please provide an accurate arrival time.  We will be in our new building which is no longer located next door to all of the rental car agencies.  This information will assist the agencies in having your rental car available upon your arrival.

Departure from Platinum Flight Center

  • Stop by the reception desk to render payment for parking, fuel, etc. or register for next year with one of our Platinum Flight Center Customer Service Staff.
